Good morning. Hi.

My name is Doacia Hemphill and I was contacted by a representative from your company yesterday. I was told that I was approved for $3,000 loan @$120 a month. For me it was unbelievable., I asked him what was the catch. He said "there's no catch, I only need to verify your information".

After verifying my address, last 4 digits social security, work, and bank account info., He then asked about my cash app. I wanted to know why he needed info about my cash app. His demeanor changed., he got upset. I said "sir this is business, nothing personal".

So we continued with the process. He sent documents/E-sign agreement for me to sign. After I signed the documents, he said "I will need to make a deposit of $1000, $3000, or $5000 to your account, and you would need to send it back to me immediately after receiving it to your account, that will tell us if you're trustworthy enough to pay the loan back to us. I stated that this method was a little strange considering that I've done business with several loan places, but none of them required from me what you're asking".

That's when he became very rude., He said " you can look us up on the website, we have good reviews with BBB., " can we look for you on the website?, no, we cannot, etc. He made it personal. I was trying to get him to calm down and relax, stating that this is a bad representation of this company and how unprofessional he was behaving. He kept non-stop with ridiculous rantings.

So I said "sir, I don't won't to do business with this company anymore, have a nice day and I hung up with him. He called me several times after that until I finally answered. He said "go ahead and change your bank information so you won't think that we will try to do something to account. I said" wow, what is with you?

What is your problem?", He went on ranting again and he hung up, and started sending me rude text messages. I would like to speak to someone at your business about this issue. Please.

I had someone call me from Lightstream finance on Wednesday. From a Georgia #.

He said I was approved for $5000. He took my bank info. Then came back to tell me that I had to pay $232.00 for some type of insurance. Well I have never heard of this.

So I told him I would call back. I called back but no answer. Wow I’m glad I didn’t do this.

Declined, It is in my opinion that this is a scam I have a credit score of 754 and no debt. and yet I was declined for a 30,000 dollar loan which my bank approved me for however I need more than 5 years on this aircraft and they declined me due to me not having any dept. sounds retarded to me,It is my opinion that this is a scam site or retarded either or don't waste your time

Hi my name Oscar Roldan, i just wanted to know if lightstream contacts person to get loans. I received a call form California, phone number 818-253-****, saying that they are from lightstream, and to offer me a loan, everything was going well upto the person asked for my bank account user name and password, i though it was suspicious, i ask the guy why he needs my login credentials, i never heard about this protocol before. Please let me know if this a legit process of lightstream company, thanks.

It’s a scam. I had the same thing happen to me They deposited 2 checks in my accounts.Fraud checks.

Then tried to cash them out. My bank called me Froze my account. Then closed it. I was a customer at this bank for 25 years.

So please don’t let that happen. Thanks Beth from Alabama

I had the same thing happened to me yesterday. They deposited 3 fake checks in my account and Wells Fargo has closed my checking and savings account

Declined loan as co-signer

Have excellent credit and always on time with credit card payments and have paid off many of my creditors. Received a decline stating insufficient credit history, which completely false.

Too many hard inquiries was the other. I purchased an automobile 2 years ago and own a home and acted as co-signer for a student loan that didnt pan out. 4 inquiries in 4 years is not a lot!

I got approved for a $30k loan but not a personal, yet via Credit Karma I have all kinds of loan offers. I feel bad for my daughter as shes in college, working hard, was to move in 2 days to her new apartment and when the college didnt approve money for living expenses, she now may be homeless and may have to drop out of college after being on the Deans list, all because of this loan!

I would actually check your credit. Maybe someone has stolen your identity, Not using your credit effects credit worthiness.

The lender may use an outside company that does not check your actually credit ,but uses your FICO score, However, the multiple enquires could be identify theft, or it is simply the dealer who sold you your car ran your credit thru multiple companies.

The problem is if it is that. You signed an agreement to let you do it,

I qualified for a loan and then there's extra money for state to state and the representative told me that he assured me that I will get my refund and now he is not answering my call or text I just want my refund back so I can get to work this week

Bad Experience as a Good Customer (their words)

I obtained a loan from them I think for $40K. Paid it off in accordance with the agreements without a hitch.

Got a Congratulatory letter from them and enticement to borrow some more. I applied. The loan process was just like if I came off the street and nothing about their letter and "special invitation" code. It took a bit of doing but I found a number to call.

They sounded like they could care less if I applied despite the fact that their letter said I was "special" since I paid off my loan. I felt betrayed and went with someone else.

Why send out letters full of lies if you could care less if someone reapplies. I will never do business with them again and if someone asks me, I am happy to tell my experience.

Paid Off a Loan in Full, Applied for another loan, denied, WTH?

Irritated that the company doesn't value repeat customers. In 2020 I borrowed $5K and paid off the loan within 6-8 months. I requested a new loan and was denied. I guess repeat customers aren't valued.

This company is a joke. No resolution when their employees steal money from client bank accounts

I was recently scammed out of $775 under the LightStream letterhead. When reporting this incident to what appears to be a robot since there are no phone numbers to call, I get re-direct to provide my credit card information for a resolution. Now why would I do that after being scammed from what appears to be this company.
